Common Ground is Co-op Cincy's Shared Services Construction Cooperative, designed to help small construction firms achieve collective efficiencies that enable them to overcome common challenges and compete with larger, more established firms.

Common Ground Shared Services Cooperative collaborates with workforce development organizations, unions, environmental justice groups, and small contractors to strengthen the cooperative green economy. The co-op brings expertise in sustainable construction, solar installation, electrical work, landscaping, and painting, and is expanding into roofing and HVAC. With support from Co-op Cincy, Common Ground is developing strong governance and shared service systems, and is seeking additional partnerships and resources to bring on more contractors, pilot new shared service models, and scale green job opportunities across Greater Cincinnati.
