CareShare made exciting strides forward as 2018 came to a closed and 2019 bounded forward. As anticipated, in December, the team completed CareShare’s business plan. In January, a steering committee of 6 caregivers and parents formed and initial conversations for seed financing were conducted. Currently, two additional shares/groups of parents are forming and website programming has moved from the front-end to the back-end development phase. Co-founder Ellen Vera also found out that she was a semifinalist for the prestigious Echoing Green 2-year Global Fellowship, that would support her work on this co-op if she is selected.
