GDUCI Hires New Project Manager!

The Greater Dayton Union Cooperative Initiative is thrilled to welcome Rachel Meketon as their new Project Manager. Rachel recently completed the urban planning program at MIT where she focused her studies on economic development policy and practice. Rachel has prior experience working with municipal agencies, labor unions, and community organizations. At GDUCI, Rachel will lead the development of new cooperative businesses.  With the support of CUCI and the IUE-CWA union, GDUCI is currently assessing the feasibility of an industrial services cooperative and is developing a pipeline for conversion projects.  Rachel's research and business development experience, as well as her deep commitment to community-centered economic justice organizing make her an ideal addition to the GDUCI team.
